Introduce yourself and begin to understand the form and function of your pelvis.
Obtain the knowledge and deepen the connection of your own bowl of life, your creative core, your Stabilizing base.

We will begin with covering basic skeletal and muscular anatomy of the female pelvis. As well as identifying and understanding the locations of visceral organs held within this pelvic bowl.

We will delve deep to understand the function, the benefits and failures of our pelvic floor and deep core muscles. We will learn how to self-treat tension and weakness.

Once we've created an understanding and deepen our connection, we will apply this new awareness to a yoga practice designed to help release tension, gain stability and improve balance in the pelvic floor.

Presenting this Workshop of pelvic empowerment is Laura. A New York State licensed medical massage therapist, yoga teacher E- RYT 200 hr & RYT 500 hr and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
Laura has been practicing message therapy for over 10 years, with over 2000 hours or training in topics of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, myology, pathology, bodywork and movement therapy.
